i am considering changing the standard suspension on my MY99 for the Scoobysport option B but do not want to lose any ride quality.does anyone know what poundage springs are used and how they compare to standard(i.e.much harder or softer)

I collected my new Impreza Turbo in Sept '98 with the standard suspension. The Prodrive Sports suspension option ordered with the car arrived 6 weeks later, so I had back to back experience of both. The Sports suspension is a delight, no harsher, lower, with less roll, and has more controlled oversteer. Don't know if this is the same as your 'Scoobysport' suspension.

Whilst I am totaly delighted with "Leda C" option for my 22B, as the original suspension was horrible for UK roads.
A minority of UK turbo drivers have told me that the Leda B is such a good track set up that they miss the comfort of the standard set up on rough roads.
Life is about compromise.
