I need two new front tyres after 15,000 miles in my 98 Turbo. I would like to get the Bridgestone S-02 Pole Position recommended in other messages, but can't really afford to change all 4 tyres in one shot. What are the implications of running the S-02s on the front and the standard fitting on the back? Aparently Bridgestone don't recommend this.

Thanks

FG

I wouldn't run different tyres, the difference in grip can play havoc with your handling and roadholding - whatever the car.
