I've just bought a new MY98, I've done 1500 miles and all the door trims rattle over various road conditions. I told Days of Chelmsford to rectify the problem at the 1000mile service, but they did nothing.
Anyone experienced the same?
My guess is that the doors are so tight on their seals, that closing them requires a good hard tug, this then loosens the door trim causing it to rattle.

I've had exactly the same problem, first on a sport then on my new turbo. One of the main problems is the tabs on the door that hold the top of the door trim - you need to bend them in slightly to take up the movement in the trim (this is usually the tab nearest the door lock). Also put some insulation tape over the tabs. Whilst the trim is off check for wires that maybe rattling etc. I've sorted the major rattles out now but you'll never get rid of all of them (in any car). You might not be comfortable with removing the door trims so best speak nicely to your dearler again.
