coolant and turbo silicone hoses by Samco™, where from?
how much for a full set?
why do they offer 3 or 4 hose (for turbo) options? is that dependant on solenoid type?
anyone know any info please?

i beleive the difference between the 3 and 4 hose kits are that ones for UK turbo and the other is for an import.

but i maybe wrong

Where from is probably here unless you want to pay Demon Thieves prices.

The "three hose" set is for cars with the icky plastic Y-pipe going from turbo to I/C (i.e. most cars). The four hose set is for STi's and other cars with the metal Y-pipe, so no, the type of solenoid used isn't a factor (the other two hoses are I/C to throttle body and dump valve to recirc pipe).

 

MY99/00 UK, Euro or WRX - 3 piece kit, which will comprise of Y-piece for under the intercooler, short round piece for between the throttle body and the intercooler, and a U-shaped piece for the dump valve.

STI 5/6 - 4 piece kit, asit has a metal Y-piece under the intercooler.

Try Rally Design as they were the cheapest place I could find for the intercooler and the coolant hoses! I did have to wait 4 weeks for the intercooler hoses to turn up though!!!

how much am I looking at because the rally designs web site isnt very clear.

 

TCS143 set @ £68 inc vat . Don't forget to specify the colour on the fax you send them.

( oh, and have patience - mine were 8 weeks ... )
