Partial bonnet respray
To cut a long story short, my bonnet needs a respray but the affected area is only on one side. As car is sti7 and there is a natural crease line around the headlights the paint guy is saying he can respray that section alone and blend.
In short its much cheaper this way but will it look crap?

If its done properly then it will be OK, but I'd make sure that your painter understands that if your not happy (ie you can see its been painted on one side) that he will have to do the full bonnet.
Then again, why not get the whole front end done (I had my MY99 done for £180) which if its done properly will mean less stone chips

From: R.I.P Piphead, at least you are home now :(
My local body shop told me it takes just as long to blend as it does to do a full spray anyway
and therefore the cost is about the same, with the exception of slightly more paint

Abbylad,
I know a spray painter that did it as a foreigner. If you need it done I can ask him but he may be a little busy at the moment as he is normally spraying up the Focus WRC's
Oh and it was a normal Scoob, a 22b job would be at least 5x that price
