Spraying
Managed to reverse into a Wheelybin this morning, combination of misted windows, bright sun and an annoying van in the way. Anyway, its made quite a mess of the back bumper believe it or not. Are Subaru dealers the best place to go for bodywork or should I try an independent?

Dealers will probably not do the work themselves unless they are a large organisation.
Most takes your car, ship it off to a local spray shop, get it back then charge you a handling fee (probably 50% on top !)
Do a bit of asking around various spray shops and you'll probably find the bodyshop that does all the Subaru work in your area.

I actually went to Subaru on Lenton Lane (is that same place as Beechdale coz they share with SAAB I believe) as they have a bodyshop on site. They quoted £55 +VAT which is really good I reckon. Service staff seemed friendly too. Excuse coming up.......I only hit wheely bin coz the blokes who disinfect them parked their van in the way and I pulled out awquardly with misted windows.....also it was divine intervention for laughing at a woman who had just done the same in front of me!!!

Yep, thats the one (lenton lane) Trish v. nice - I've had 3 sets of discs on mine now under warranty and no complaints or hassle from Beechdale, they are v. good in my experience.
Same van cleans our bin out too, and they always knock on the door when I've just come out of the shower goddamit!
