Hello all.

I have a K&N %&i kit on my car and its filthy! I know you can buy cleaner kits for them, but i refuse to pay 20 odd quid to clean the filter (tight git i know).

Is there another way?

Cheers!

Given the potential consequences of not cleaning (and reapplying oil) properly, I'd suggest that £20 is money well spent.

I agree with Mr Monkey, buy the kit, I have and Im a proper skinflint.

Just realised I havent got the kit just the oil. I washed mine in petrol then read that petrol does then no good at all. Been OK though!
