I'm about to put 17's on my uk my00. I've been informed that the two tyre choices available to me are 205 45 17, and 215 40 17.

Does this sound correct, and if so which would be the better option?

Cheers

205/45/17 is the size that prodrive put on 17 inch wheels but you are limited to a small choice.
215/40/17 fit fine and dont affect you speedo to much and there is alot wider choice.

Cool thanks Andy.

I take it the clearance will be ok with the 215's? I was a bit worried, because a couple of people have told me that 215's might rub on a classic.
