would the two brackets from an MY99 classic match up to an MY02 WRX intercooler?

And I know as I am fitting an O2 intercooler to my 98 STI.

The LH bracket from the 02 car can be used but you/I will need to widen the RH bracket.

A guy did fit and STI7 intetrcooler, using the standard brackets:
