Just wondering if some of you can help:

The car is a Subaru Impretza Turbo 2001 UK Spec and the following parts are going to be fitted to it:

Apexi Power FC ECU
Apexi Boost Control
Blitz Sonic Power Air Filter
Blitz Dump Valve
Blitz Dual DC Turbo Timer
HKS Cams (256 or 264)
Magnex Full System including downpipe, cat pipe and balance left/right pipe
Irr Plugs

What cam profile should be used, do you need to advance or retard the timing when fitting these cams as no pullies are available for the car.

With the Apexi Power FC ECU do you need to set it up on the rollers?

What sort of boost should I run it at for maximum safe performance?

Finally what sort of BHP should I expect?

Also anything else you can recommend?

Wink

With the original turbo (TD04) you won't see more than 280-290 horsepower. With cams, an aftermarket ecu etc I should imagine it would need setting up on a dyno.

Try Andy Forrest and discuss the suitability of a TD05-06 20G upgrade. Get his e-mail address from his profile. He posts in drivetrain regularly. Price without a donor turbo? Not exactly sure and it will depend on just what you get but in the order of £800 which is very good value for money.
