ADVICE NEEDED

Just installed a boost gauge,the feed im planning on using is the cigar lighter feed ,but i cant seem to see how to remove the lighter itself ,does anyone have any tips for me ? and when driving is the gauge supose to read vacum until the turbo kicks in then goes into boost ?

There is no need to remove the lighter, just take the ashtray out and you can then get to the wires behind the lighter. Find out which wire is the live etc.. and then use a block connector to tee in. The lighter will still work.

The thing is i did remove the ashtray and removed the wire from the back of the lighter to put a piggy back terminal on ,but i cant get me fingers back in to connect it back to the lighter , so i could do with knowing how to remove the lighter to reconnect ,thats all

Personally I'd use the radio feed. You have a switched live, a switched live for the back light and more importantly you have loads of room to get your hands in.

Where abouts is your pod? I've got an a-pillar pod and used the rear fog-light switch - 2 minutes with a multimeter and you're away.

its alright telling me to use other things , but the lighter is disconected now and i need to remove it to re fit it thats all
