Hi, my WRX93 has been hunting for idle recently when i pull up at a junction, and theres been a smell of fuel. So yesterday i decided to fit a new Lambda sensor. It sounds better but still hunting slightly. Ive drove 130 miles and used over 3quarters of a tank of fuel!! My Bro followed me and he said everytime i was accelerating there was black smoke coming out. Yet the 130 miles back there was still black smoke coming out under acceleration but my car only used half a tank doing the same speed. Can someone please tell me what could be wrong and how i can fix it.
Thanks everyone.

smell of fuel, black smoke, sounds like some serious overfuelling.

Basically if you don't know, get it to someone who does.

Not much help I know, but there's a number of things it could be I'd imagine, from leaky/sticking injector/s, to electronic fault.
