Question

Still having problems with My Supersound dump valve, I've heard that they cause air/fuel problems - the car is still almost cutting out on changing down gears and has problems coming back to a steady idle. Anyone have any problems like this and how can I remedy it?. I have tried to adjust the screw on the valve with no success. (MY98)

Keep trying the adjuster, providing the valve is clean and not sticking it can be easily adjusted on a scooby to give a normal idle.

As a rough guide for imprezas, slacken the lock nut off, then screw the hex bolt in, it needs to be just slightly below the level of the top of the lock nut(when the nut is locked).

If this doesn't work then you have a dirty/sticking valve. mail me if you need advice for striping/cleaning, if you try this, be very careful the springs strong and the piston will take your front teeth out if your not careful
