Hello All...

After my recent trip to Santa pod I feel the need to get chipped up!!!

Can anyone tell me the best chip/ ecu to buy.. Reasonably priced too please!!

I am aware Superchips can supply a chip but is it any good? or is there better for the same type of money?
Any help and experiences shared will be appreciated.

Also what sort of differences will I get?

Superchips isn't really a chip - it's a very overpriced bleed-valve & fuel-cut raiser (or remover). Not a good choice...

As for the ECU, the best choice is the best choice as far as the chosen mapper is concerned for your car's set up.

You can do things in 'bits', ie a boost controller, fuel controller, etc. but it's probably cheaper & neater to just get it sorted with a full ECU (or remap of your current one).

The cheap option is a Dawes, but all that does is simply raise the boost!

It would help to know the model of the car, the mods, and what you're intending to do with it in the future, if anything?

Car is MY93 WRX... Running following mods:- Full decat and exhaust system, Induction kit, vta forge dump valve, 25bhp shot of Nos, Running standard boost.

I am looking at upping the boost and obviously sorting fuel and everything out...

What does everyone suggest...??

A 93WRX benefits well from a ScoobyECU remap.
I can do these using a single and rare 27C1028 chips (chip used by STi, but with different map)
OR
David Wallis can supply a ScoobyECU Adaptor using 2 27C512 chips.

Both run the same map for a 93WRX and both are the same price.

Mail me for more details....

P.S 93WRX run 11.47psi, 93WRX ScoobyECU run 15.5psi with revised boost control, boost target, fuelling, ignition and increased fuel-cut limit.
