Dawes - Hose size please

What inside diameter hose size do I need if I plan on fitting a Dawes to my car?
What sort of hose do you recommend - been thinking about high pressure fuel hose etc. Ive heard that a vacuum type hose isn't very good as it can deform under pressure and cause boost fluctuation.
