I'm running approx. 250 bhp on a UK97 with full decat and Blitz Induction. Car feels really quite sluggish when picking up. Think I may be better with a panel filter but what can I do to increase my power and torque.
Its getting to a point where I'm considering changing my car so any help would be appreciated.

get the ECU remapped...
I'm not sure about the ECU's on the pre-99 cars though I think Powerengineering.co.uk do a piggy back unit that enables them to do a full remap to sort out the fueling, ignition and boost to make the most of your mods. Should start pushing 270 / 280horses if you're lucky. Not sure about torque figures, but they'll be higher than what you've got.
If you realy fancy splashing the cashing (up to about £2k) then go for a replacement ECU - Gems, Link and Motec are the most popular choices...

Thanks mate. £2k is certainly more than I want to spend. I think I'll only keep my car until next year anyway.
I'll give Power Engineering a shout and see what they recommend.
