Cool

Can anybody tell me what the standard peak boost pressure is on a MY99 STI Type-R?

What is the safety cutoff pressure dictated by the ECU?

What would be a safe level to take the boost too, should I decide to fit a Dawes device?

Cheers,

Craig.

In all honesty, I wouldn't alter the boost without a remap. Read how many of these cars have failed as standard! I had mine done via the ECUTEK route - they retard the timing, and upped the boost to about 1.3bar - gost like greased ferret **** of a teflon shovel!

Standard Peak boost should be around 1.1 bar.

I certainly wouldnt consider upper the boost without a proper remap.

Pleanty of options

ECUTEK

GEMS
UNICHIP

Got mine boosted and mapped , like ragnarock2s.

LOVELY! (also using DAWES to keep and hold that boost smooth).
