Fitting Turbo timer
#1
I'm getting annoyed with the idling after driving around... gotta get a turbo timer fitted. Can anyone advise whether it's a DIY job, or do I need a pro to fit it, and if so, how much?
Also, while I'm at it, is there any other elec parts that could be fitted easily at the same time, just to cut down on the labour costs at later time?
Thanks

But check how the TT interacts with the alarm. The alarm may lose its thatcham rating depending on how its wired. If its wired with thatcham rating in mind then you wont be able to arm the alarm while the timer is running.

Mate I fitted a HKS type1 TT to my car using the wiring harness in about 1hour, the longest bit was following the cables to the ECU to mointor all the engine revs.
Easyish to do using the instructions on the HKS website.
Hope this helps
