right you guy's might flame me for this,

but I have gone ahead anyway as nobody really know's about the STI-8 PPP

But:

HKS Racing Suction Kit
HKS Downpipe
HKS De-Cat
HKS VTA Dump Valve
PPP Backbox
PPP Fuel Pump
PPP ECU
DO-Luck I/C Spray System

OH and it already has very tight security

And in the post but not being fitted till a couple of weeks after the above mods,

S.E.C.S Data Monitoring
SAMCO Hose Kit ( In Blue )
Blitz Iridium Spark Plugs
Blitz Boost Guage
Blitz Temp Guage
Blitz Pressure Guage
AP Organic Clutch
MOTEC ECU

Oh and almost forgot the most performance enhancing Mod, Fog lights for the front I know this because the WRC Coloured floor mats that have STI written on the have almost doubled the power already

so what do you guys reckon BHP wise I was hoping for around

310-320 at the fly and some more tourq which is what matters,
the ultimate goal is 355 but I'm not to sure what these mods can offer the scoob, I have seen EVO's reaching this with similar mods.

The first stage of the tuning will be this Saturday and then we will book for the next bits to be done as soon as they all arrive, hopefully all will be done for Trax when its being run on the 0-60 timing, then Santa POD when there is another meet down there.

please !! if any of you are going to Trax this year please do not hesitate to come over to us and give your opinions, we will be over in the 0-60 run carpark the car is marked with a pretty unique No. Plate UK PPP so you should be able to find us

The change in induction and exhaust could cause you present engine management to run lean, advanced and overboost which could break your engine rather quickly. The VTA dump valve with the existing management will overfuel on the over-run and dilute the quality of your oil.

Once you change to the MoTeC these should not be issues, but I would agree with Theo's suggestion to drive VERY gently meantime.

SECS does not work with MoTeC.

Think about a FMIC, exhaust manifold and a bigger turbo and fuel injectors to reach your power goal. Try to get everything fitted at once then get the ECU remapped once to say time, money and hassle.

Think about a method of in car knock monitoring.

You may want to look into the flow limits of the PPP exhaust.

Don't fit the mods you list on the standard ECU. Simple as that. The package will not be safe or warrantied. Worst of both worlds.

(or the Prodrive ECU).

If you want 355 BHP go for:

Headers/uppipe
Full 3" decat or sports cat exhaust system from turbo back
Turbo upgrade
Fuel pump
Fuel pressure regulator
Uprated recirculating dump valve
FMIC/induction/inlet pipe
ECU remap (if so sell your PPP ECU and swap for a standard one - check the immobiliser situation on the STi 8 if doing this) or standalone ECU
Knocklink, boost gauge

Get together all the stuff, get it fitted all at once and get the mapping sorted asap afterwards.

You could skimp on some of these but to get a reliable 355 BHP at sensible boost it is a good list to start with.

I really have no choice about the,

RSK
Downpipe
DE-Cat
BOV
IC Spray Kit

the car already has the PPP pack fitted,

but what do you reckon I should do ASAP to the car after these have been fitted.

all other parts have been cancelled now !!!!

also the de-cat has lambda sensors included so the car won't loose those when fitting the straight through.

the next mods were going to be guages and the ECU !!

I really apreciate your advice as you can tell my knowledge is pretty basic !

Check the full load fuelling after fitting the induction kit.

Knocklink and boost gauge, then enlarge the restrictor orifice (off the compressor outlet) in 0.05mm steps until it doesn't spike any higher on the boost than it does before the mods.

Run Optimax plus octane booster.
