Ok... Can some one please help me understand why this would be happening and that way I might be able to see if the dealer was telling the truth? hehe I doubt it.

Dutch GTT MY99, 144,000 KMS (90000 miles for you lazzy people..)
When driving below 100 kms the turbo worked fine, however once you reach 120 and you floor it, the engine starts to pulse, you feel the turbo wanting to go and not being able to. This was repeatable every time from 120 kms....

Any idea's on what causes this problem.... a pressie for the smart alec!....

MAF on it's way out? It's apparently common on the MY99 and on.
"Not wanting to go" could be an indication of running lean.

There's a few things it could be - most simple to repair if they are caught in time!

well the dealer had to jump start it and then filled it with i think RON 95.... and when we returned from the test drive, the last 5 mins was soft use, he just turned it off.........

I am well aware of the requirements of being good to your turbo.. but hmmmm... the real problem is the not wanting to go.... Also the pipes in the engine were prodrive, they had replaced the orginials.

The dealer said that the problem was the Solenoid... this is corret?

Please people can you help, I would love to call the dealer back and tell him I'll get the car... but I am scared that this is something that will haunt me.... something that the dealer never really fixes..
