Question

The things that the door windows rub on when they go up and down...

I heard that Subaru have made an upgrade part for the older cars that's bigger? If so, does anyone have a part number or the real name of them??? (And an idea of cost?)

Thanks

Off to find some jeweler's rogue

I've got to get mine sorted out (or at least reported) in the next week or so. Luckily, the car's still just about under warranty.

I'll let you know how I get on.

ISTR that there's upgraded ones available that keep the glass away from some metal clips that result in the scratches.

How good they are at their job I dunno... Anyone?

I'm reporting my window scratches to the dealer this week. I'll let you know what they come back with.

I am looking at replacing my front window guides , any idea how many there are on a classic wagon and how easy they are to change

I've been meaning to do this on my blob, they are called window stabiliser guides.

These are from ICP and are for classics and bugs, worth a call to see if they fit later versions as well:
