Folks,
I've got an STI 7, and for one reason or another it had been left at home all alone for almost 2 weeks, not getting started or anything.
Now, on Saturday night I decided that I would just try and start it etc, and it was very uncooperative, it was turning over etc, but not firing up. Then whilst still trying to go there were 3 almighty bangs from the exhaust and it started.
I decided on Sunday that I would take it out for a run, and it drove like crap, spluttering and banging a bit, after it was well warmed up(about 7 miles), I noticed that it wouldn't even manage to make 1 bar of boost.
On my return home trip, it drove pretty much like it did before, but still not just making as much boost as before, and still feels a bit jerky.
The car has had the PPP fitted, and I think that it just didn't like to be left alone for so long, but should I reset the ECU?
And if I do need to reset the ECU, will it still be according to MRT's instructions?
Thanks in advance.
Shaun
