Ok bit the bullet and bought my first Scooby...
must say big improvment over my old saxo vts...
just need an answer to a few basic questions my car is a my99 - I was wondering how often it needs serviced is it oil/filter every 7.5k and a beefed up service at 15k? or do you guys recommend a more regular routine? Also what levels need to be checked on a weekly basis - oil I am familiar with but having never owned a turbo car before what else can you recommend?
Also can any body recommend anywhere to get the car serviced in and around Ayr?
see ya all around
cheers

The FAQ bit... I was meaning
The above should help you out mate. It's a bit out of date but the info will still help you with your MY99
Alot of people choose an interim oil change every 3,750 miles just to be on the safe side.
You must let the car warm up properly (never over 3000rpm till it's nicely warm) before booting it and always let it idle for at least a minute following any hard driving before switching the engine off, to let the oil dissipate from the turbo. This bit is essential
Cheers and welcome
