Question

I have an uprated fuel pump and and regulator which has a fuel pressure gauge. Following a recent thread i noticed a discussion about fuel pressures

My fuel pressure on idle is 2 bar. Is this correct??

Thanks

Mark

What I have heard is that you must have 4 bar if you running ) boost and vacuum. To check this is to disconnect the vacuumhose of your fuel regulator.

Question

Ok on checking, i'm running 2 bar at idle.

I run 1.1 bar of boost.

So does that mean that i'm underfuelling on full boost?

the fuel pressure at idle shd be around 2.8-3.0 bar(unless u have an adjustable regulator).so if running 1.1 bar of boost u shd have 3.9-4.1 bar fuel pressure when acclerating hard at wot

Question

Anyway, the next question is how do i increase the fuel pressure? It is an FSE fuel pressure regulator with gauge attatched.

I know its a pretty stupid question and its probably very obvious
