boost levels

Just fitted aboost guage to a UK MY'99 Car.
I read up to 15PSI boost though with standard car apart from:-
Decat centre.
Scoobysport back box.
ITG panel filter.
Should i really see boost this high?
I have connected to the manifold blanking plug.

It will probably peak at 15 but if you watch your gauge with your foot still to the floor you will (or should) notice that it will creep back to the 13.7psi target.
Also allow for the boost gauge not being 100% accurate.
