hi there im thinkin of buyin an impreza, can any1 tell me the mpg of most of the modles driven hard n driven slow

Varies wildly. UK or import?
I think I'm at about the top end - up to 34mpg with restrained motorway driving, 26 typical, 18 if psycho . But this isn't with the standard ECU... with the original ECU, etc. think I used to get between 24 & 28 with typical driving, 30 absolute tops & 22 minimum.

uk 97 turbo. 20 MPG ave. never more than 22
(k+N induction kit fitted)

average between 24-28mpg on most days going to work and back

Trips to Santa Pod about 14mpg tops

A good thrash on mountain roads returns about 10 to me, 26-28 at normal driving (pretty Quick)
