Anyone know what gas is used in the STI3 air conditioning system?

At a guess, it's either R12 or R134a depending on how old it is.

can only be r134 as the others have been baned by the enviromental agency.

The Japanese label under the bonnet of my MY94 STI1 says HFC 134A.
