just wondered if anyone hasn't fitted one and if they found it made a big difference?

Yes I have and Yes it does.
Stops the nose lifting under acceleration. You feel it most coming fast off roundabouts and the like.

I did mine last week and its GREAT!
expect some more tyre wear tho, as the speeds you can now hold thru bends are ridiculous! LOL
