I had a problem last week when I had a puncture in my Impreza WRX RA on the Twyford stages, this resulted in the wiring loom being badley damaged under the drivers side wing. I have obtained another wiring loom off another RA (Slitley younger and maybe an sti) which I have fitted. I now have all my electrics working but have no spark and the fuel pump is not running (the car stopped when the damage was done). What I have noticed is that there is a light green wire in my old loom and an extra pin in the white plug just inside the bulkhead that runs to one of the relays in the fuse box under the bonnet, this is not in the loom that I have aquired but there is a yellow and red wire running into the same relay under the bonnet. Obviousley this could be the problem but is there anything else that could have happened i.e relays burnt out , knakered ecu, we are not getting any check engine messages or lights at all. We did try a normal WRX ecu which made no difference and also ran a direct 12v feed to the above relay as the feed from the green wire is 12v. Sorry to go on but can anyone help.
Cheers Simon.
