Will the ecu from an MY96 Sti fit a MY99 UK Turbo and if so what are the gains to be had.

as far as I'm aware on the classic shape there is something changed in the wiring (the crank sensor) is reversed so it will not work, but the turbo and cam profiles are not the same anyway.
I have an sti intercooler, sti type ra injectors (440cc) bosch pump
and a brd/turbo dynamics md254 turbo for sale, turbo has less than a 1000 miles as it was not suitable for current spec engine 2.35 ltr 450 ft.lbs torque 430 bhp run on an engine dyno. garrett T4.
I'm based in Dublin, also have 330 bremsport brakes and adjustable shocks for sale. anybody interested???
