Looking at the O2 sensor readings will show you if the car is running lean or rich as well.
Anything under 0.89 volts on a stocker means that the car is starting to run lean and possibly the MAF, fuel pump, or injectors may need attention. Not that 0.89 is lean, but it's not normal to get those readings on a stocker as they run between 0.90 volts and above.
As for knocking, it shows you if there is any knock correction made by the ECU from the stock knock sensor, however a Knocklink would be better insurance, cos I've read that above 6000 rpm the stock sensor does not pick up knock, (correct me if I'm wrong). Also if your stock knock sensor becomes faulty you will have the knocklink to back you up.
Cheers,
Wrexy.
