hi i need to retard the engine timing to use 93 octane .can any one suggest ideas .yet to maintain the performance? this is on STI 98 MODEL GREY IMPORT .a friend of mine asked to use bigger front mounted intercooler .any more simpler modifications.? suggestions please?

93 ron as a base to start from on a car that needs 100RON?? That doesn't sound good I'd feel uncomfortable making the rest of that up with booster. That said my opinion is a gut-feeling as opposed to having any scientific basis

Select Monitor can retard the ignition until next ECU reset, but I don't know what access you could get to one.

93 octane - in India is this RON or MON - makes big difference.

You should with NF octane booster be able to get it up quite well - from lower octane it takes less.

Get a knocklink first of all.
