i need to tap into the o2 sensor wiring to fit an afr gauge , where is the sensor and where is the best place to tap into the wiring ,(car is 94 wrx turbo wagon)

The best place to tap into the wiring is at the ECU end.

sorry mate, should have explained
It is plug 43, the plug has two rows of 11 pins.
As you look at the plugs it is the one furthest right as the plugs face you, pin six is on the top row in the middle.



Take the live from a good switched ignition source and run the earth to the battery terminal
