..not sure on the correct forum to post this, so Mods move as necessary.
I need the rear arches rolling on my car, tyres catch on certain higher speed corners and under certain road conditions. Before i go on track I need this fixing.
Whats involved in rolling the rear arches? Do they just fold the metal out of the way? Do they need painting? Im very unsure of this, so any help, as always, is appreciated

Basically it will fold the metal away. There is always the risk of the paint cracking, and/or panel distortion. If done carefully, it does work though.
I recently seen a P1 though that had its arches rolled....half way. It seems that when they realised it was buckling the quarter panel, they stopped..Pity they did it on both sides.
Ive also seen a few cars that have been done with no problems, but just be aware of the risks

rather than rolling, you can sand them down with a drill. i only needed to remove about half for it to be sufficient. dont forget to paint/seal the sanded area. I did it last summer and no rust.
