couple of things i've noticed.

1. low fuel light seems to inidcate 5 ltrs left not the 9 in the manual - when i fill up immediately light comes on i get 55 ltrs in.
2. as soon as low fuel light comes on the car will mis fire and splutter under acceleration or cornering. Tank shape/feeder is obviously sensitive to motion with at least 5 ltrs/1 gallon left.

any similar observations ?

 

Most likely low fuel pressure with so little fuel in the tank.

 

That's a bit worrying. Luckily I never leave my fuel tank less than a quarter of a tank.
