AVC-R fitment ( 95 WRX ) Help !!!!!
#1
Ive just bought one of the units as well as a AVC-R, the powerfc is being mapped by RC developments, but i want to fit the AVCR myself, I know what the wiring side of things but need to know what pipes to tap into for the boost solenoid fitment, and pressure sensor, does anybody know of any online documentation of "How To's", as any help would be great.....
cheers in advance

does the boost solenoid not go where the standard one would?, ie pipe from nipple on turbo compressor to feed solenoid, then from solenoid to actuator (desired boost level going to actuator), and (if there is a waste pipe for bled air) bled air pipe going to inlet pipe between airbox and turbo???
I don't have experience with your boost controller just guessing, there are people on here with experience of them so you should get the answer you're after

Right then..
The boost solenoid should be mounted as close to the turbo as possible but not in a high heat zone..
You run a peice of pipe from the turbo outlet nipple to the solenoid and then run a peice of pipe from the solenoid to the actuator..
You must mount the solenoid using the rubber mounting supplied, if you do not.. you will get p!ssed off with the sound of the solenoid pulsing..
The pressure sensor must be mounted upside down with the feed connection facing downwards, you must also make sure that you use an inline filter (supplied) in the vacumn pipe..
You take the feed for the pressure sensor from the middle pipe on top of the manifold (the left one runs to your dump valve)
Hey presto..
