Have a similar problem!!! Only I know its the turbo timer rattling! So annoying, I just haven't sorted it out yet.
However, this doesn't really help you does it!
Where does the sound come from? loud or quiet???
is in the car? or external?

Easy to identify 
You're half a BMW driver which means you have some of the BMW DNA in your make up. This causes you to indicate 50% of the time (in your case left) hence the clicking

Id speak to Ian and see if it could be that the kit is catching when you turn your wheel to the left, it is probably something as simple as this
