Need a new clutch for my MY99 Impreza Turbo and want an uprated one. Can anybody recommend a company who will supply and fit one in the London area, but I am willing to travel futher to get a good job done. Also any recommendations on decent brands e.g AP, Helix etc.

Thanks

Thanks guys for the quick replies and keep them coming. I was thinking of getting a lightend and balanced flywheel but am not sure if it will effect the idle speed of the engine.
Weenie are the parts that Town End supplied you new or used.

Thanks

Just fitted a Lateral Clutch to my Type R,

Really pleased with it, softer than before and handling the extra power well

Speak with Mark on the list (Lateral Performance) he sorted it out as a complete kit with release bearing for approx £450

I then got Dave at Risborough 4WD to fit it along with some other work

If your changing your clutch i'd get a lightened flywheel aswell! Just had my clutch and fly wheel done! The flywheel cost me £300+vat and it one of the lightest ones I could find @ 4.37kg, O and it was the cheapest! I feel it makes quite a difference, especialy when its just you in the car. Shame you live so far south I only paid £100+vat for fitting and the clutch cost £335+vat for an AP paddle clutch. Total of £735+vat all in. Thats alot cheaper than any where I could find.

I gues you could mailorder just the flywheel if you wanted it. Its called TOWN END GARGE. www.townendgarge.co.uk.

Would definately recomend them to anyone, did a great job at a realistic price!
