Question

Recently melted a piston on my car and under inspection found that the fly wheel had cracks in and the clutch was about goosed!!!!

Been offered a paddle clutch and lightened flywheel for £150 second hand.
Does anyone have experience with a paddle clutch??
What are they like to drive? are they impracticle for day to day use?
Will it case more damage in the long run to my engine by using it??
Any other advice or thoughts would be appreciated.
Regards Ronniebiggs

Competition use only normally, and complete pain in the **** on the road, or at least in traffic that is.
