OK, so I've got an opportunity to facelift my '95 WRX and fit a frontmount at the same time. I don't know which intercooler I'll go for yet, by the way, so recommendations for that would be welcome as well.
Question is this. Could I use a Sport bonnet if I did that or would I cook things?
The reason is that I rather like the idea of having a very discreet installation so that at least some of the local plebs wouldn't bother trying to race or nick it. Plus I can then do a facelift, fit a later bonnet and not have the ridiculous expense of buying all the grills and scoops.
Someone must know...
Cheers,
SB

SB - I posted a similar thread to this last month (I think).
Got a lot of response and opinions re HKS, APS, Pace, Apexi and others - If you do a search for this thread, it should help you with your choice.
Cheers

P.s After originally intending to go for the HKS FMIC I've been swayed following research and may well go for the Pace as the pipework is much shorter and theres no bumper cutting required.

I have a PACE FMIC with Uprated radiator for sale if you are interested, drop me an email.
Good thing about this unit is that it does not require any bumper modifications/cutting!

Well it looks like I know which intercooler I need.
Now what about the real question - can I get away with using a Sport bonnet instead of a turbo one?
