what are the main destingushing marks between jap and uk engines? i have a 93 WRX and got a new engine, but there are quite a few differences, things like brackets, coil packs e.t.c

The engine is due to go in tonight, hence why its urgent. i dont want to be putting a UK spec engine in me car...

 

Won't your local Subaru dealer help? If you give them the engine number they should be able to tell you.
