Brake light starts coming on after a routine service. First it's intermittant for a few days, then constant. Check pads, fine. Check sensor, fine. Check brake fluid - no problems. Still on. Take it round to Len at Subaru4you. Asks me all of the above.

Takes the brake fluid cap off, and the rubber insert (like a diaphragm)is in effect, inside out, pushing down on the low fluid switch!

Felt a bit of a Wally!

 

Nope not heard of that but have heard of them sinking and doing the same thing.
