Hiya all,
Our overflow hose has been nicley patched up with tape (thanks Colin ) for a while now, managed to get hold of a replacement today and just a bit curious about how I'm meant to fit it...a few questions:
1) Do we have to drain the radiator? (found a few threads on search which explain how to do this )
...or 2) will I just be able to take the hose off (catching any fluid in a plastic box) and top up in the top up thing on the right?
A few pics:
The damaged one in the engine:
The hose:
Thanks for any help, if it's any consolation I managed to fit the thing that covers the bolts on the windscreen wiper myself

No,you dont have to drain the radiator but make sure your engine is cooled before you disconnect the hose and with the radiator cap open to relieve any residue pressure. The coolant from the plastic reservoir will be completely drained once you disconnect the hose,so I guess you want to drain it into a container and pour it back once the new hose is fitted.
Hope this helps.

Chan,
Thanks! You're a star Thanks very much - I always worry about these things as they can cost a bit if you get them wrong
Thanks again for your help,
Jen
