I think the key os the intercooler... the intercooler changed on 97 cars (along with the bonnet and vents) along with the dump valve...

If you have slanted intercooler then the 95 dump valve will fit...

I believe that is right anyway

What exactly are you trying to do?

dont be stoopid matey! the pipe size is not a problem at all, its the DV functioning thats an issue. And the DV WILL function fine, you just need to make up an adaptor for the pipe. So, either cut some of the original pipe off, slit it laterally, so that its like a piece of orange rind and then place inside the pipe like an internal rubber spacer or B) buy some more pipe of a smaller pipe size and use sections of that as an adpator, in the same way as before. Will work perfectly, i promise. I know cos ive done it myself, and to a lesser extent im an engineer. At least that what they tell me. Not that my pay checks support the theory.

Hope you didnt waste your hard earned already. Poxy dealers shouldnt be so greedy. Just once in a while it would be nice to see someone suggesting these things rather than just stealing all our money. Gotta go now, have just been told off for 'going on again'. Coming dear...

drop me a line if you need any help, im always happy to assist.

best wishes,
matt.
