Question

Can anyone tell me which turbo is on my car please? it's a UK MY00.

Would fitting a VTA dump valve make any differences?

would they be good or bad? as I have read they can be dangerous for later models and reduce throttle response.

Any help would be much appriciated (spell checker needed)

Thanks Steven

Why are you replacing your stock one?

Don't know about dangerous, but the 'dump to atmosphere' aftermarket ones mess up the fuelling when you step off the gas by not returning metered air to the inlet. This is said to lead to flames if you're also decatted, if that's your bag....

Mine is still stock at over 20psi

I'd advise a recirculating one of you must, but then you don't get the nice ppppsssshhhhht....which is generally the reason for upgrading them

Richard
PS: I'm about to try a different one, but only because an FMIC install requires an adaptor making up for the stock one. I'll try an Evo one first, then a Forge recirc. if the Evo doesn't work out.
