Someone built one, can't remember who. The circuit is floating somewhere. There is a simple bandpass filter at about 6-7 KHz IIRC and a LM3914N bargraph LED driver.

Hi john,

What exactly is the filter, does it convert frequency to volts? and could you take a feed from ecu or oem sensor.

Cheers Paul

Use a separate one. Search google on bandpass filter.

If someone was to put one together, having an audible alarm when you hit orange or red would be a real step forward.

I was going to make up a water trigger for Andy F's car, but in the end with the other mods he did not need the water. In hindsight, you need a bit of advance warning to get the water going and by the time you are on anything over green the det can happen very quickly.

In a similar way you could drop the duty cycle, but unless the system learned it would be after the event.
