HI does any one know where you can get the cam shaft holding tools for my 95 wrx? after changing my cambelt without these last time im not attemting it again the right hand bank (looking from front of car ) the shafts are wild!! slight movement and they spin round like nothing ive ever seen and after 4 hours off swearing just to gett the belt on never again without tools as i have to relace a few rollers and the hydraulic tensioner in a few weeks

use a thin wooden wedge to hold wheels in position.

You could also try making a spanner from some plywood which should be strong enough.

Get the wheels into position, and use a couple of small Mole grips to clamp in place.

An excellent suggestion from a few months ago was to use some cable ties
ie between the relevant big holes in each pully
to strap the two pulleys together

I agree with Mark, all the Scooby cambelts I have done I have held the pulleys in place with mole grips. Never had to use a hammer yet though fitting a cambelt.
