Are there any records of problems with a 99/00 car
after decatting ?

I've still got a restrictive STI backbox, in the hope that it
would help, once decat backbox and centre are in place.

It's just til I get it remapped next spring.

I was told by my Dealer that it can cause #3 to overheat, but the same Dealer has told other customers (and myself) that it's OK - so go figure

They only point they mentioned was the reduced back pressure.

Reduced back pressure is good IMHO, but the mapping needs to be correct.
