ok guys have just taken delivery of a replacement coolant temp sensor as I think mine is faulty. Now I have heard conflicting views as to where this sensor is located. I have a MY93WRX and would be very grateful of a description of where to look and or a photo of its location would be very nice

Thanks in advance

The easiest way of finding it is; if you follow the top hose from the rad to the top of the engine, it goes onto a metal water rail. The sensor is located about three inches back along the water rail on the left hand side. It is easiest to access the sensor from the back, but to do this you have to remove party of the intake hose.

I hope this helps.
