Question

I’ve got a problem with the drivers door solenoid.

When locking the car it overruns. This happened about 4 months ago so I removed the solenoid from the door and moving it in and a few times seemed to fix it.

At the time I rang my local dealership for the price of a new one. They came back saying there was no solenoid in the drivers door and that I would have to buy a whole new central locking control unit at some stupid price!?

There is no part number on the solenoid so I was wandering if someone could try and look it up for me on the parts CD.

The car is a UK MY99.

Many thanks, Chris
